The billboards were taken out from cry room and were prop up on the chair so that the team can have an a bird eye view or overall feel what and which looks good when put side by side. The challenge is also to ensure all 50 billboards fitted on the balcony precisely. The job entails at least several specialised groups/pairs.
Group 1: Sewing? ..cut estimated appropriate lenght of fish lines (90 lbs strenght) into boards for hanging purposes.
Group 2: Lightings .. Putting up lightings around the board. 9 sets altogther (exclude Spidey as Spidey is under Phase 3)
Group 3 & 4 : Tying up the boards to balcony
Group 5 : So call the 'Eyes' ..for positioning and colour blending (ensure overall right mix of theme and color scheme).
If you were around and hear shouting across balcony..it says 'Left! right! higher! lower,, no i dont like it..change!' ..this is the reason.
It gets harder and louder when worship teams are doing their pratices in the Hall! ;o)
Group 6 : QC, QC..this is the 'OCD' group, not because it was mandated by Art Director..but rather, they cannot bear seeing insymetrical boards, non straight lines...etc! Lol!
Yes..dinner provided ..we do not starve our volunteers!
